LDEI Lunch & Learn Series - Dame Denise Vivaldo Shares Her Food Styling Tricks, Tips & Secrets at Melissa’s Produce.
Are you a food blogger, restaurant owner or just a plain old foodie? The way you market and brand yourself often begins with just a photo. From restaurant plates to take out platters, styling food for the camera is an art form, one which requires high-end presentation skills in order to compete in today's competitive market.
Dame Denise Vivaldo has been playing with food for 30 years in Los Angeles, earning a reputation as one of the top food stylists in the country. On Saturday June 11, you'll be able to learn from the master herself. Our event begins at 11:30 with a delicious lunch provided by Melissa’s.
Denise will lead a 2-hour presentation with handouts which you can follow along and take home. Denise will also have copies of her best-selling (and almost out-of-print) book, The Food Styling Handbook available for purchase at a discounted price (and yes she will autograph them for you).
During the presentation, Denise will show us how to create the right ambiance using focus, good lighting, color definition and movement for your photos whether you are using it for menus, Instagram or Pinterest.
This fun and informative presentation and lunch will be held at:
